Royal Jelly is what queen bees feed on. It contains the most complete balance of nutrients in nature. These nutrients are responsible for the queen bees’ longevity and provide them with the strength they need within the hive.
It is an organic mountain honey that is amber and can crystallize. Its aroma has floral and vegetal nuances and it tastes slightly sour, salty or bitter depending on its main nectar sources. It has a strong acidic component due to its royal jelly content.
Our apiaries are located in the mountains of Galicia at elevations starting at 600 m above sea level, mainly in the Ancares and Caurel nature reserves.
Pollen mostly from Castanea sativa, Eucalyptus sp., Ericaceae sp., Rubus sp., Rosaceae and Cytisus sp-Ulex sp.
